The 488GTB configurator isn't terrible for the old and colorblind.

Let’s introduce a colorblind old fart to a Ferrari dealership. His name? Let’s presume it’s Eugene. A self made blue collar man with a big emphysema class action lawsuit check. Eugene is color blind but he will have the best car when he’s finished! Look at the beige-ness that could be had! Configured right here:

Note the blue carpets and the seats have heavy green stitching.

“Umm sir? Would you like me to point out what colors you are actually selecting?”

“Son, my friends were killing your friend’s grandparents in the war! Shut up and make me this here car I’m telling you to make before it’s too late to get a Pabst Blue Ribbon for a dollar at Buddy’s would ya?”

Eugene knows his style. There’s room for his favorite bowling ball in wherever the hell he can find the space for it and the hi-fi system will play plenty of his favorite polka. It even has technology to stream phone calls from his Verizon handset that his goddamn son-in-law got for him.

“Jitter Bug goddamn it! That’s all I asked for. A real phone with real buttons! Jesus....I should have known. She had to marry a Trystan!”

*cough cough*

(creators note: I have no problem with people named Trystan. Eugene does. He grew up with Franks, Harrys, Bills, Bobs, Johns etc. Sensitive male types are not in his world at all. His daughter married one)

All kidding aside, I had to work hard to actually get a terrible color combination and Ferrari, to their credit, made it quite difficult. The only time I could really screw it up is on the dashboard. Otherwise, blue carpet could actually go well with most colors possible. Looking at the seats view, the tunnel console of course isn’t too good with those seats but the carpet and the leather combination is working sort of alright. The Bordeaux inserts look good. The green horse is still bullshit in this combo.

However, the best part about this car and this configurator, is we can go other colors. Fly yellow, Orange, traditional red. My choice? I have to go withe the classic Bordeaux.
